General Hypnosis Sessions and Rates:
I find it more effective to work with people in longer sessions. One hour treatment sessions sound less expensive but you actually spend more money in follow up treatments. Hypnotherapists who do shorter sessions may have you come in as many as 5 times for one issue. My treatments are usually 2 hours in length, costing $150 at a competitive rate of $75/ hour.

Q: When you’re under hypnosis, do you still have your free will?
Yes! Hypnosis is a heightened state of concentration and focused attention. When you’re under hypnosis, you don’t lose who you are, your ability to know wright and wrong, or your personal strength.
Q: Under hypnosis, do you lose consciousness and forget everything?
A small number of people who go into a very deep hypnotic state experience amnesia. However, most remember everything that occurred under hypnosis.
Q: Can I be put under hypnosis without really wanting to?
No. Successful hypnosis depends on your willingness to experience it. Hypnosis is most effective with a voluntary participant.
Q: When you’re under hypnosis, does the hypnotherapist in some way control you?
No. You do hypnosis voluntarily for yourself. A hypnotherapist only serves as a knowledgeable guide or facilitator.
Q: Can I be hypnotized?
Yes. Hypnotizability is often something that can be learned . It can be a very effective practice to teach yourself to go into trance. Like most things, you will get better as you practice. Some clients don’t think they are hypnotized at the end of a session. Yet, they do notice is that some things have changed – maybe it’s that day, maybe ten days later. The effects can be subtle and sometimes profound.
